NBI Residential Program

When Outpatient is too little and hospital is too much …

NBI Ranch augments NBI's intensive CBT-based treatment for OCD and anxiety-related conditions in a supportive living environment. For some adult patients with complex cases, a stay at NBI Ranch could be the breakthrough they need.

The NBI Ranch fosters residents' independence, socialization, self-care, and a sense of adventure during intensive treatment. Together, residents prepare meals, take care of shared living spaces, and participate in social and community activities, including CBT-modified equine-assisted therapy, improv, gardening, and yoga.

NBI Ranch has Residential Counselors (RC’s) on-site and clinicians on-call 24/7 to assist and encourage residents. RC’s help reinforce treatment goals and provide feedback to NBI clinicians that helps shape the treatment approach at NBI. RC’s also provide transportation to residents for treatment and activities.

NBI RanchResidents typically stay at NBI Ranch between 30 and 90 days, with options for extension and step-down.
